The school year is under way and I have the pleasure of teaching 2nd grade this year. I am having a great time with my students, they are really bright and very sweet. Right now we are doing a fantastic author study on one of my favorite children's author, Kevin Henkes. We have read Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse and Chrysanthemum.
