The Westing Game
In the Westing Game we learn that Samuel Westing has written a will and has 16 heirs. All of these heirs are very interested to learn what Sam Westing has left them. If you were to write your own will, what three items would you include to leave to someone else? What makes these three things so important to you? Who would you give each of these items to and why?

I would put in my will my labtop, money, and cat. The reson why I would put these things in my will is because I use these things every day in my life. I would give my labtop to 2P because he is my best friend. I would give all of my money to parents because they spent so mch money on me. And finaly I would give my cat to my sister because she has his sister.
ReplyDeleteMy 3 objects are my model horses, my Bible, and my books. These things are important to me because they all came to me at special points. My Bible, for example, came to me on my First Communion (I am Catholic and proud of it). I would give my Bible to my Aunt Marilyn because it would be so good for her to study the Bible and that she has a handicap. I would give my books to my cousin Ann because she loves reading historical fiction and I have mostly historical fiction. Also, she likes reading good liturature, and I think my books would be good for her. Even if they are too easy for her, it would be good to know that she has something good to read. My model horses would go to my friend who does not like to get things mixed up. That is good to know because she will remember which ones where mine and the ones that are hers. I would know that they would not be broken at her house.

If I were to die now, 3 things I would give to someone else would be: My stereo system, my dog, my wii. I would give these items to these 3 people; My stereo system would go to my cousin Matthew. I would leave my dog to my aunt Rhonie. Last I would leave my wii to my cousins Nikki and James. I would leave my stereo to my cousin Matthew because he is: 1 going to college and I think he would enjoy having a stereo system that can stick to your wall and is very functional. 2 He is very dependable and helps me with things even though he lives far away but I think he deserves something in return. My dog would g to my aunt because she wants a dog that will be able to live in the house and behave and a dog that will just run in the fields and be very outgoing and my dog is. I would leave my wii to my cousins James and Nikki because Nikki likes to do alot of things on the wii, like wii sports and wii fit, and my cousin James likes to play guitar with his band so I think he could use rockband or guitar hero.

I would include my soccer trophies and medals because they are memories of my victorys and I would leave them to my parents because they are my biggest fans. My Pinewood Derby car I would leave to my dad because he helped me make it, and we worked very hard. And I havea special snow globe from my grandmama that I would leave for Cara because she never met her.

I would also give my videos I made of me to my mom, because it shows the memories we had. I would give them to my mom because she raised me and let me have those fun times. Last thing is I would give my UofL autagraphed poster to my sisters, because we had lots of fun at that vollyball game. I would give it to them because they always let me play with them and they taught me to do alot of things.

I would give my purple shoes to my sister because she likes to play dress up in them , but they are way too big!!! They are important to me because I like them and I wore them to the Father Daughter dance at my church. They are also important to me because my friends at church think they are cool. I would give my pillow to my other sister because she is always asking to use it. It is important to me because I have had it for a long time. I also like it because it is soo soft and it sinks down when you lay on it. I would give my bike to my other sister because she is just now learning to ride a bike. It is important to me because I got it for my 10th birthday and I ride it a lot around the neighborhood. These are the things I would leave in my will. 7p

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I would put my books in my will because I have always really loved reading. I would give all my books to my sister, Hannah, beacuse she also loves reading and I think she would enjoy my books and not damage them.
The second thing I would put in my will are my pets because I love my pets alot and I always have. I would give my pets to my brother because he has shared his passion for animals with me.
The third thing I would put in my will is my drawings because I am complimented on my art so I think it would be nice to keep it. I would give my art to one of my friends because she is very responsible and appreciates my art.
Each of these things are important to me because they each express something about me and I don't want to be forgotten.
I would leave my medalion to my BFFLs' Brynna & Brooklyn because that medalion is proof of a memmory that will live on for eternety. I will give my telavision & computer to my children if I have any, because they would want something usefull to remember me by, I suppose. Finally, I would give to my BFFE ( best friend for eternity) Kate my Nintendo DS because that item, much like her, has brought much joy into my life.

My vauluables are also important to me because they are what is vauluable to me in my life. Next my money is important to me because it is what I earned all my life and I want to make sure that it is in the right hands when I leave earth. I would split my pets to my friends Aiyanna and Emily. I would also leave my vauluables to my sister for her to enjoy. And last but not least I would leave my money to my Dad for him to keep. The second thing that I would give away is my big black bear that my grandma sowed for me I would give that to my Mom I know that she would know that I loved it very much, she would take care of it know matter what. ReplyDelete1. I would give my medals and trophys to my sister. I choose my sister because she won a lot of medals and trophys too since we competed together and she would understand how important they were to me.

3. I would give my jewelry and makeup to my friend. I choose my friend because she likes to get dressed up and fancy and it might remind her of our friendship.

If I were to die now,the three special things I would like to leave to other people would be my keepsakes box to my mom because it has a lot of special memories that we have collected since I was born, my tow trucks and fire trucks will go to Jimmy who is my mom's boyfriend because he likes tow trucks and fire trucks just like me and I know he would take good care of them. The last thing that is special to me is my dog Rosco. I will leave him to my dad and step mom because they like dogs and have two other dogs that Rosco plays with.

My ipod is important to me beacuse I like to listen to music and play cool games and I would want my brother also to enjoy it like I do . It is important to me because I have always liked uk and thats my favorite team and it always will be. If I had to write three items that I would leave to some one else the items would be my money, my ipod, and my motor scooter. All the three items I typed are important to me because I had to earn all of them. And it took a long time to get them. I would give Mike Battaglia my money because he taught me EVERYTHING I know about basketball. Plus I have known him since I was three years old. And maybe even longer than that.I would give my motor scooter to Emma Goers because shes one of my BFF's. I would my ipod to my dad because he is the only person that lives in my house that does not have an ipod.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to write a will I would have them take my Great Grandmother's necklace that she gave me before she died. It is a really pretty necklace which meant a lot to her and therefore has a lot of sentimental value.
ReplyDeleteThen next item I would include would be my Dad's video camera which he enjoyed using. He liked to capture a lot of moments on the camera. I would do that because he was really important to me and now he is gone.
Last but not least I would leave my Mother's gold heart pendant necklace. My Dad gave it to her before I was born and she always tells me that I can have it some day.
I would leave these items to my Sister because I have known her all my life and I trust her the most. I have been through everything in my life with her and she has always been by my side and I love her.
If I wrote a will and left 3 iteams they will be my money,a house,a ranch. I will leve thoses things to my brothers and sisters because I doun't have any body eles to give those things thoses things to.the money I will spit it in my family beacause they spend so much on me.The horses Iwill give them to my brothers beacause they love horses and they said they wanted horses wene they are older.I will leave the house to my family because they mite need it for any thing or for friends or geusts they have or family that are staing with them and they dount have many rooms they can stay were i leaved.This things are inportant to me because I used those thing every day of my live. 23d

I would give my guitar to my Dad beacause he is realy good at playing. I choose my bible beacause i am a christion and God and learning about bibicle times is an important part in my life. Three things I would give away would be my bible, my first book, and my red coral necklace. My bible is important to me because it is the word of God and it can help athiests or people who don't know about God to lead them to heaven. My first book is important to me because it signifies how much my parents have helped me grow and become who I am today. My Italian coral necklace is important because my grandmother gave it to my mom and I never got to see her because she died before I was born.I would leave all of these things to my parents because I wanted them to remember the things that I thought were the most important.

If I needed to write a will, I would give my laptop computer to my Nana. It is very special to me because I love to play games on it. It is also good for research. My mini laptop is special to me is because my daddy got it for me on my 10th birthday and my money is special because you can get alot of stuff with it.
