Students have been hard at work identifying parts of a sentence and verbs. This is a great website that allows them to practice what they have learned at school.
Verb Review: When you finish the verb review, highlight, copy, and paste the self check sections into a word document. Print and turn it in for a grade.

Verbs help me in my story by sometimes making sentences shorter with linking verbs. Also, action verbs tell me what the person or thing is doing. Sleeping, running, walking or jumping. Without verbs, stories would be dull and it would be hard to understand what happened. Also, sentences would be way too short. Verbs help us in everyday life. We coudn't talk without using verbs. How would we live without verbs?
